Revenue Sharing Plugin for phpBay Pro for WordPress

This is where you can download my WordPress plugin to add “revenue sharing” support to Wade’s great phpBay Pro eBay store script.
Important NOTE : 5th June – updated this plugin to cater for allocation of “shares” of revenue. PID’s are now not randomly allocated with equal chance. They are allocated according to the amount of “share” you have configured to them. If you are upgrading from a previous version then please use the previous version to delete all PID’s you entered first … then overwrite the old plugin with this version … then re-enter your PID’s allocating them shares.
Who needs this ?
Anybody who has “partners” in their sites.
Anybody that, for whatever reason, needs to split the income of their site equally and fairly between any number of configured eBay PID’s.
How does this plugin work ?
This plugin provides a very simple way for you to share the “clicks” between as many EPN PID’s as you like.
Each person who has a share in the site provides their own EPN PID and CID. These all get inserted into the revenue sharing plugin settings interface. When a visitor loads a page on the site then the plugin randomly assigns a PID and CID, and all of the eBay URLS on the visible page are then built using that particular EPN PID/CID.
PID’s and CID’s can be added or removed at any time through the plugins settings screen in the WordPress administration interface.
Using this method each partner then receives their own equal share of the sites income directly into their own EPN account. No need to divide up the spoils manually :-)
Each partner sees their own stats in their own EPN Dashboard as well.
At the moment the plugin does not support “weighting”. So each PID has an equal random chance of being chosen for any particular page load. If you have 4 PID’s installed then each PID has a 1 in 4 chance of getting chosen.
If you have a need for weighting (eg. if partners each have a different “share” of the sites earnings), then please let me know and I can upgrade this plugin to cater for that.
What do you need to run it
I have tested this plugin on all versions of phpBay Pro from 2.5.1 and up.
NOTE : This is a WordPress plugin and will not work on sites that have not been built using WordPress.
Installation is trivial, and if you are familiar with installing WordPress plugins then you should have this running in just a few minutes.
What does it cost ?
I am releasing this revenue sharing plugin into the phpBay community as “donation-ware“.
