Isnare Plugin – Auto Content Generator Plugin for Wordpress
This Isnare plugin is a great little auto content generator plugin for Wordpress.
By adding a single command on any page or post it will automatically display a relevant article from the Isnare articles directory on your site.
This plugin uses a unique approach to choosing the article that it is going to display. Instead of using the search engine on the Isnare website it uses Google instead.
Why would this be a good idea to use Google ?
Well, if Google already thinks that the article is good enough to choose, then it is very likely that the article is already pretty well optimized for whatever keyword that you are looking for. Which probably means that your own page/post already has quite a good chance of being ranked for that keyword as well.
Here is an example of the command that you would insert on your page (or post) to display a random article related to “garmin gps” -
[contentSN]garmin gps[/contentSN]
As soon as the plugin sees this command it asks Google to search for the 20 most relevant articles in the Isnare article directory for the keyword “garmin gps”. The plugin then randomly picks one of these, and displays the article for you.
Why is random content good ?
Most of the search engines like content that changes, and they usually end up spidering your site more frequently.
Can I edit how the article displays ?
Yes. To a certain extent you can specify how you want the article to display on your site.
The output of the plugin is driven by a “template” file that you can easily edit. It is just plain and simple HTML. While you cannot change any of the actual wording on the article itself (this is prohibited by the article directory terms of use), you have complete control on where you want the title to display, the body to display, the authors bio and the articles source url, etc.
Does this plugin play nicely with other plugins ?
Yes. It is completely compatible with any other plugins that you may be using. In fact if you are using any other command line driven plugins (like phpBay Pro, phpZon, Search2Post, etc) it works perfectly in conjunction with them as well.
Do you have a working example ?
http://digital-camera.uwantwefind.com/articles/digital-camera.php contains the command [contentSN]digital camera[/contentSN] and is a good example of this plugin working in production. Each time you reload this page you should see that the article changes.
Please note: The eBay auctions on the above example page are generated by a different plugin (called phpBay Pro), so you can see how this contentSN plugin can be used to add relevant autocontent to a page of auctions.
